The song “Give U My Heart” was written by Babyface and Toni Braxton for the soundtrack of the 1992 film Boomerang.
The duet was released as a single in the same year, reaching No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart (behind Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road” from the Boomerang album).
The song appears as a B-side on some editions of Braxton’s 1993 single “Another Sad Love Song” and on two of her greatest-hits albums, Ultimate Toni Braxton from 2003 and The Essential Toni Braxton from 2007, as well as on some editions of her 1993 single “Another Sad Love Song.”
